On 14th, August 2026, a delegation from Federation of Industrial Employers in Denmark visited NordiHouse. IAD has existed for more than 140 years. Today, IAD is a broad association of companies from the manufacturing, service, electronics, IT, logistics, life science and consulting industries. IAD has more than 1 700 member companies representing a total salary sum of DKK 65.4 billion, equivalent to approximately EUR 8.77 billion.
IAD is also member of Danish Industry the largest business and employer’s organisation in Denmark, representing more than 20 000 companies across manufacturing, trade, service and other industries.
The Board of Directors of IAD led by Niels Jacobsen, Chair of the Board visited Poland on a study trip. The purpose of the trip was to gain more knowledge of countries that inspire the Board in terms of innovation, manufacturing, education, resilience, the green transition etc. The study trip included the visit in NordicHouse in Krakow.
The President of NordicHouse, Janusz Kahl presented the Board with broad information on politics, industrial situation in Poland and on NordicHouse acting as a consulting company for Nordic companies entering the Polish market.
Representatives of ASPIRE, Hanna Piwowarczyk, EMEA Finance Director in Abbvie sp. z o.o. and Marcio Costa, Head of Business Operations, IAG GBS Poland Sp. z o.o. presented the association.
The visit was coordinated by Hans Wicks, General manager of Danish Industry in Germany who is responsible for Danish business in Germany and relations to Eastern European countries.
