On 4-6th Marts 2026 Janusz Kahl, Honorary consul of Denmark in Krakow, PL participated in the Extraordinary Session of the Consular Conference 2026 in Copenhagen, DK which gathered nearly 300 Honorary Consuls of Denmark from around the world in the heart of Copenhagen organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
The meetings are regularly arranged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to bring together the honorary consuls for joint orientation and networking in Denmark.
The honorary consuls play an important role in Denmark’s foreign service by assisting Danish citizens and promoting Danish interests in countries where Denmark does not have a permanent embassy or consulate general.
The focus of the Conference was Economic Diplomacy and Cultural Diplomacy. Besides the educational aspect, it was the perfect opportunity for networking and meeting all new colleagues from different countries around the world and strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and international relationships.
The session of the conferece served as an educational and networking platform for consuls to align on international trade, investment, and diplomatic priorities.
On 5th Marts 2026 participants attended a formal dinner at Kronborg Castle in the presence of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Denmark.
