On 26.06.2025, a meeting with the regional representative of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), Jonasz Peczka, took place at the headquarters of SPCleantech. The aim of the meeting was to establish closer cooperation, especially in the context of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE – CURIOST project “Circular design and development of Sustainable products in 4 key sectors in Central Europe”, which is being implemented by SPCleantech as part of the priority Cooperating for a greener central Europe. The project involves 11 partners from 7 EU countries.
In order to implement the project strategy at the operational level, 140 companies from the SME and mid-cap sectors will be selected, of which 20 will be in the Małopolska region. From the entire group, the consortium will ultimately select 30 companies that are most motivated and open to the implementation process, which will take part in pilots aimed at developing prototypes of innovative products tailored to individual needs. It is estimated that entrepreneurs who already have tested innovative solutions and pilot products in circulation will have a much easier time applying for EU funds for further operational activities.
SPCleantech, together with PAiH and other institutional partners, will select companies interested in issues from 4 sectors as part of the announced recruitment: 1. Mechanics and mechatronics 2. Plastics 3. Packaging 4. Construction and structures. Selected companies from Małopolska will receive support in the process of transformation towards fully sustainable and innovative production based on the circular economy model (CE).
