NordicHouse is the biggest shareholder in South Poland Cleantech Cluster non-profit, which was created in February 2014 and registered as Sp. z o.o., (Ltd.) in February 2015 (www.spcleantech.com ) with 26 shareholders like companies, universities and science and research institutions, municipalities and NGOs (quadruple helix organization).
The chairman of NordicHouse, Janusz Kahl is at the same time a managing director of SPCleantech.

South Poland Cleantech Cluster is a collaborative ‘quadruple helix’ cluster established by industry, research institutions, public/semi-state players and NGOs in the region of Southern Poland, with a vision to create jobs and unlock trade opportunities, through activation and development of an internationally recognized Cleantech cluster.
The cluster has today 80+ members, all of them paying members fee. SPCleantech deals with the prevention of global climate changes, the promotion of sustainable and green development of Southern Poland, promoting cooperation between SMEs and large companies as well as universities and scientific research units and supporting and building the ecosystem for start-ups.

SPCleantech is powerful engines of economic development and drivers of innovation in the Southern Poland. It provides a fertile business environment for companies, especially SMEs, to collaborate with research institutions, suppliers, customers and competitors located in Poland.
