On October 7 and 8, 2022, NordicHouse and Carbon Footprint Foundation, organized the 3rd edition of the Carbon Footprint Summit at Hala Cracovia in Krakow. The theme of this year’s event, whose partner is NordicHouse, is sustainable development and responsible business.
The conference, exhibition and workshop part was waiting for the participants. The program of the event, organized by the NordicHouse and Carbon Footprint Foundation, included, among others International Conference in the field of ESG (environment, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance), presentation of companies in the area of sustainable development, Fair Job Fairs, Hackathon EcoTech, as well as two premieres: the proprietary trademark for products and services – Carbon Footprint Approved and the Report Foundation.
The Carbon Footprint Summit offer was addressed to representatives of responsible business: management staff, CSR, HR, PR and marketing specialists; representatives of NGOs, journalists and people working in the media, representatives of public administration, students and everyone interested in activities for sustainable development.
For those who wanted to learn about the latest trends in ESG, a conference part and three thematic blocks have been prepared: #FACTS, #TECH and #IDEA. The substantive support of the conference was provided by experts from the world of business, science and media as well as representatives of partners of the 3rd edition of Carbon Footprint Summit: NordicHouse, Columbus Energy, Saule Research Institute, Fakro and AMS.
The conference part started with the premiere of the Carbon Footprint Foundation Report: “What Polish women and Poles know about the carbon footprint”, presenting the results of annual research on public awareness of the carbon footprint and ESG. Later, there were lectures by experts and interdisciplinary discussion panels on the following topics:
“Green economy or ESG in business”,
“From technology to economy”, energy independence of enterprises, security, legislative changes
“Organization in balance – employee and climate well-being, personal branding.
The conference ended with the presentation of statuettes in the Carbon Footprint Summit Awards 2022 competition in 5 categories: Technological Innovation, Promoter of Science and Knowledge, Eco Influencer of the Year, Green Commune and Responsible Employer.
