Meeting with the representative of Marshall of Małopolska

Małopolska is committed to innovation!

On August 8, 2025, Wojciech Piech, the Marshal of Małopolska, Łukasz Smółka’s representative for entrepreneurship and labor market development, visited NordicHouse. The purpose of the visit was to establish closer cooperation in business promotion and networking between enterprises from the Małopolska Region, particularly with Scandinavian countries. During the meeting, potential areas of cooperation were discussed, such as supporting Małopolska businesses in the Scandinavian countries, brokering contacts and supporting innovative technologies and projects, developing green technologies and entrepreneurship, and supporting companies in applying for EU funding.

Another topic of the meeting was the exchange of information on EU projects in which NordicHouse participates, such as CURIOST from the Interreg Central Europe program and One-Stop Shop – a comprehensive system of investor support in the thermal modernization and renovation of buildings from the Interreg Baltic Sea Region program.

Wojciech Piech is an experienced local government official who serves as the Marshal’s Plenipotentiary for Entrepreneurship and Labor Market Development of the Małopolska Voivodeship. Previously, he served as Secretary of the Małopolska Voivodeship, Deputy Mayor of Nowy Sącz, and Secretary of the City of Nowy Sącz. A graduate of the Catholic University of Lublin, he holds an MBA and holds a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration (KSAP). He focuses on supporting entrepreneurship and labor market development through collaboration with business support institutions and entrepreneurs.
