ICN Summit in Copenhagen

On 20-23 May, 2014, Janusz Kahl, CEO in NordicHouse participated in ICN Summit 2014 in Copenhagen, DK. Meeting was organized by International Cleantech Network (ICN) and Copenhagen Cleantec Cluster (CCC) and there were 400 participants from 30 countries. This years topic was "Creating smarter solutions for Smart Cities".

New members in Cleantech Cluster

One of the goals of South Poland Cleantech Cluster is to attract new members from abroad. During The British GREAT Business Megamission held in Krakow in March 2014, Janusz Kahl (SPCC) met 4 British companies: Lodge Cottrel Ltd., Excel Energy Ltd., DMS Technologies Ltd. and Westinghouse Electric Company UK, Ltd. interested in joining SPCC.

Meetings with cleantech partners in DK and S

In week 44, Janusz Kahl, CEO in NordicHouse visited Copenhagen and the Øresund. The aim was to strengthen contacts with the various partners in the cleantech and exchange experiences with establishment of similar structure in the Southern Poland. Meetings were held with Copenhagen Capacity, Quercus, Cph Cleantech Cluster, Gate 21, Scion Technology Park and Lean Energy Cluster from Odense.

After having started cooperation with Danish recruitment companies, NordicHouse and our partner Polish Employees concentrate now on Norwegian and Finnish markets. In Norway we approach companies with drilling platforms and shipyards. In Finland we concentrate on the new neclear power plant and other recruitment companies.

Cleantech seminar in Copenhagen

On 28.08.2013, Janusz Kahl, CEO in NordicHouse particpated in the cleantech seminar organised by Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster in Copenhagen. Among speakers was the Danish Minister of Climate, Energy and Building, Martin Lidegaard and representatives of universities, organisations, NGOs and leading cleantech companies. The discussion panel was on "Sustainability: global perspective versus local priorities".

NH Recruitment, is a part of NordicHouse, that works with recruitment of temporary workers and highly educated permanent staff from Poland with focus on the Nordic countries. With the aim of strenghtening our recruitment abilities we started recently a startegic allience with a recruitment company, Polish Employees based in Krakow.

NordicHouse helps the Polish IT company from Katowice, JCommerce in participating in the public tenders in the IT industry for public institutions in Denmark. JCommerce has prepared in cooperation with the Danish company Ennui, which is responsible for the specifications, documentation for the selected tenders in Denmark.

International Cleantech Convention in Hamburg

On 28-30.05.2013, Janusz Kahl, CEO in NordicHouse participated in International Cleantech Convention and 5th ICN managers meeting organized by "Renewable Energy Hamburg". The convention agenda included most relevant topics in Hamburg´s different fields of cleantech development as Sustainable Mobility, Urban Efficiency, Smart Grids and Renewables. Janusz Kahl represented South Poland Cleantech Cluster in the Convention.
