Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce – About us

The Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce (SPCC) was established in March 2004 as a result of the merger of four organizations with more than 10 years’ experience on the Polish market, i.e. the Finnish Trade Guild, the Norwegian Business Forum, the Swedish Business Club and the Danish-Polish Chamber of Commerce.
 
The SPCC is an independent organization with 337 corporate and 22 individual members. Those include companies operating in the main sectors of the Scandinavian economy, i.e. power generation market, constructionpaper industry, logistics, services, telecommunications, furniture, oil industry, food processing and the biggest Nordic banks.
 
SPCC is 3rd Bilateral Chamber of Commerce in Poland taking into account number of member companies and 5th in the total number of investments made by Scandinavian companies on the Polish market.
 
The Krakow section was opened in 2006. The section covers Vest-South Poland, South Poland and East-South Poland. Janusz Kahl from NordicHouse in Krakow is the chairman of the section.

NordicHouse in Krakow is a consulting company, which was created with the purpose of initiating and developing the interregional cooperation between the Nordic countries and the Southern Poland through promotion of contacts for business, tourism and culture.
