"Vision" - an exibition by Lotta Svensson
NordicHouse and Royal Danish Consulate organized an exhibition of Swedish artist and designer Lotta Svensson ”Vision”, which was shawned in January 2008.
After high school Lotta Svensson went to the States and started studying interior-architecture and design at the ULCA. She was also given the opportunity to be behind the scenes at 20th Century Fox where she learned a lot about movie making and stage design. When she returned to Sweden, she studied art, art craft and design: in Varberg, in Öland and Stockholm.
During her artistic life Lotta Svensson perceived her works as clear visions. In her young days she created simple forms, now she turned to emotional art. Generally she busied herself with ferniture design, but lately she dedicates herself to paint in oil. She maintains, that the most important thing in her life is a possibility to express herself with shapes and colours. www.ls-timedesign.com
